The Fash
- An essay by Axel Stålnacke -
Fascism is, in certain aspects, more like a religion than an ideology; it usually glorifies certain individuals to the level of perceived divinity and it is almost entirely based upon faith (faith being defined as belief despite lack of evidence). The arguments presented by fascists are analogous to those used by creationists. They go on about how the distance between various continents combined with the time their populations have been separated would be enough to create substantial genetic changes, despite all of modern biology not just pointing to, but asserting that this is not the case. The arguments they use in support of their totalitarian state structure usually consist of appeals to some unbreakable human nature, for which there is no sociological, neurological, or biological evidence; in the end they simply assert their beliefs or resort to ad hominems. You cannot argue with fascists
